304 Sporting Memorabilia 650 Showjumping. Circa 1948 Beswick figurine of a showjumper, believed to be Iris Kellett Porcelain figurine showing a showjumper riding side saddle and clearing a fence. Condition: Very good. This figurine is believed to be of Iris Kellett on her most famous horse, Rusty. In the UK the figurine was marketed as Showjumper. One of Ireland’s most famous equestrian sports champions, Iris Kellett (1926-2011) won many international showjumping competitionsand trained some of Ireland’s best-known horses and equestrians. Iris Kellett won the Grand Prix at the Dublin Horse Show and the Princess Elizabeth Cup at White City in 1949 on Rusty, when she was just 22. She again took the Princess Elizabeth Cup in 1951, and in 1959, in Dublin, she won the Championship of Europe.
