1927: Seán Milroy, Dail General Election poster
Election poster produced by Seán Milroy with an inset image and quotes
of Arthur Griffith. Main title in lower quarter, “A vote for Milroy is a
vote for the policy of Griffith and Griffith’s policy is the only foundation
on which the prosperity and freedom of Ireland can be built”. Seán
Milroy unsuccessfully contested the Cavan constituency during the 1927
General Election as an independent candidate after leaving Cumann na
nGaedheal. He was later elected to Seanad Éireann. Printed by Dollard,

1928 (13 April) First East West Flight Ireland to North America Gold
Commemorative Medals
22-23 carat gold. Pair of gold medals struck in commemoration of the
first east west transatlantic flight. The first, obverse with two busts in
flying helmets of Von Hunefeld and Kohl, reverse with Junkers W33
monoplane ‘’Bremen’’ flying over ocean. Produced by the Bavarian State
Mint and engraved on rim “Bayer Hauptmünzamtes .985”.35mm, 22g.
The second obverse inscribed H.Kohl/ v.Huenfield/ Fitzmaurice, reverse
with a depiction of the monoplane “Bremen”. Inscribed on rim “Preuss
