Wing V 130. Vaughan (1603-74), friend of Selden, consulted by
Charles I at Newport, a leader of the country party, active in the
impeachment of Clarendon, also remembered for his opinion in
Bushell’s Case which established the immunity of jurors from
punishment for judicial acts.

An uncommon first-hand account of the unsuccessful French expedition
