Contemporary artist John Fitzgerald lives and works in County Meath but
originally studied Industrial Design in Letterkenny and later in the University of
Wales, Swansea. He has been painting for several years with equestrian and farm
animals being his main source of inspiration. He is represented by galleries
throughout Ireland and has contributed to several group shows as well as
garnering prestigious commissions from private clients and companies. Most
recently in September 2011 Fitzgerald was commissioned by The South East
Meath Chamber of Commerce to do a painting of Newgrange, later presented to
the Cary Chamber of Commerce, North Carolina, USA.
