A scarce original ticket for the Nirvana concert planned to
be held at the RDS on 8 April 1994, the same day that the
band’s lead singer, Kurt Cobain, was found dead in Seattle,
Washington. Framed alongside a promotional photograph
of the band.

Curt Cobain at Beacon Avenue Elementary School

A color photograph of Kurt Cobain, later of the band
Nirvana, in his fifth grade group class photo. Cobain, with his
blond hair, is seen sitting on the floor holding one side of a
red sign that reads, “Beacon Avenue Elementary Grade - 5
Mrs. Grove 1977-1978.” As a child Cobain moved several
times following his parents divorce a few years before this
photo was taken. The school Cobain attended here was
located in Montesano, Washington, ten miles from
Aberdeen, where Cobain spent much of his youth.
