A very good brass and mahogany three-draw telescope by Robert-Aglaé Cauchoix the hind-most draw with interior slide mechanism with numbered scale. Robert-Aglaé Cauchoix (1776-1845) was a pioneering French optician and instrument maker, whose lenses played a part in the race of the great refractor telescopes in the first half of the 19th century.
