A 1914 Luger 9mm Parabellum manufactured by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM), serial number 7312 stamped to barrel, side of chamber, front of trigger-guard; ‘12’ stamped to various components, the magazine with wooden grip. Used in the War of Independence by John Mulcahy (later Garda Sergeant) G Coy. 4 Batt., 1st East Cork Brigade and E Coy. 3 Batt., 2nd East Cork Brigade. Provenance: By descent to the current owner.
