The larger album containing 385 photographs of hunting in the English country side, the barracks Towbridge; regiment in Malta, Egypt and Palestine; a smaller album with eight family photographs and a series of Cartes de cabinet of Wellington College; an oblong quarto hunting journal of Arthur Corbett, 1923 (September 6) to 1960, includes a week’s fishing in Ireland in July 1959; a 10mo, hunting journal of RS Corbett, Arthur’s father; and a 10mo notebook with tipped in newspaper cuttings, 1896-1897 of hunt reports. (5) Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Corbett retired to Sallins, Co Kildare, where he lived until the late 1980s.
