(45.7 by 61cm) Artist’s note reads: “I chose this view because of the significance of the road. This is one of the oldest roads in Ireland (Slí Dubh Luachra?) which in olden times led straight to ‘the Ford’ (Ath Fherdia). On the horizon is Sliabh Gullion and the ‘Gap of the North’.
