198 180 Markey Robinson (1918-1999) SHAWLIE ON A PATH BEFORE A VILLAGE oil on board signed lower left 16 by 24in. (40.6 by 61cm) Frame: 27 by 35in. (69 by 89cm.) Condition: There are drying cracks visible on close inspection throughout the left side of the work, particularly within the leaves of the tree. These cracks have not led to flaking of the paint. There is some surface dirt visible on close inspection. The board is stable. There is a mark visible along the lower edge where the work was fitted into a previous frame.
