All with inscription in black thread UDR and battalion numbers - 1/9, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7/10, and 10 (2, one with red thread line). Also an Irish Army overseas service sergeant’s armband. Condition: Very good. The Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) was an infantry regiment of the British Army established in 1970, with a comparatively short existence ending in 1992. It was intended to replace the disbanded “B” Special Royal Ulster Constabulary. The regiment was merged into the Royal Irish Regiment in 1992.
