Attractively framed with an artist signed artist’s proof etching of Beckett by Jack Coughlin. One of Beckett’s shortest works - 20 lines of typescript on a 9.5 by 6.5 inch sheet, signed in ink. Overall frame size is Mealy’s, Castlecomer, Irish Literary & Sporting Memorabilia, 15 September 2019, lot 302. Condition: Very good. Breath is a notably short stage work by Samuel Beckett. An altered version was first included in Kenneth Tynan’s revue Oh! Calcutta!, at the Eden Theatre in New York City on June 16, 1969.
