Signed Chopard inside second plate. Wound by key through the dial. Jean Louis Chopard was a watchmaker in Sonvilier from circa 1760 to circa 1800. There were a several watchmakers in the Chopard family in Sonvilier. in the 19th century one of the family, Louis-Ulysse Chopard would found the famous Chopard watch and jewellery business. €600-€800 (£540-£710 approx.)
