Inscribed to 942 Private George Rochfort Gray. Gray was the son of George and Mary Leslie Grey of 102 Cabra Park, Phibsborough, Dublin. He was born at Athboy, Co. Meath, and died on 11 October, 1918, in the Sinai Palestine Campaign, and was buried at Haifa War Cemetery, Palestine (now Israel), Grave Reference B2. He was in the Corps of Hussars, at his death, and listed in archives as 73062 . Commonwealth War Grave No. H/73062 listed as 1st/1st Dorset Yeomanry (Queen’s Own).
