(210.2 by 360cm) Exhibited: Scaligero Castle, 2-16 July 1995; Dogana Veneta, 19-30 July 1995; Market Place Theatre & Arts Centre, Armagh, 2014-2021 The twenty second and final stage of the 1991 Tour de France came to a dramatic climax in the Champs- Élysées on 28 July that year. Djamolidine Abdoujaparov wearing the green jersey caught his front wheel on the crowd control barrier metres from the finish line and crashed trapping two cyclists behind him in the chute, Schur and Jalabet, letting Konishev [second from right] through to win from Ludwig [third from right] in second place and Jalabert [extreme left] third.
