(30.5 by 40.6cm) Frame Dimensions: 17.5 by 21.5in. (44.5 by 54.6cm) An artist by the name of T. Lalor exhibited at the Oireachtas art exhibitions throughout the 1940s and once - in 1943 - at the RHA from an address in Carlingford Road, Drumcondra. It is believed this may be the artist Tom Lalor whose watercolour caricatures of Dublin personalities, dating to 1917-1919, are in the collection of the National Library of Ireland. Lalor was a commercial artist who between 1912 and 1923 supplied a weekly half-page cartoon to D.P. Moran’s Leader.
