120 History 225 C96 Mauser ‘broom handle Peter The Painter’ pistol Deactivated C96 7.63mm semi automatic pistol, serial number 69831. Also marked ‘Waffenfabrik Mauser Orbendorf A. Neckar D.R.P. u. R.P. also with Mauser log and stamped N and R, and a Chinese inscription. This weapon was a favourite of the IRA in the War of Independence. Condition: Deactivated - barrel split, trigger welded etc., but a fine looking weapon. With EU Deactivation certificate.
