Includes Richard Mulcahy, Dermot O’Hegarty, Joe McGrath, Donal McCarthy, Eamonn Duggan, George Gavan Duffy, Robert Barton, Erskine Childers, Seán Milroy (including a caricature of Alice Lyons, whose book this was), George Murnahan, Taig Robinson, Timothy Smiddy (Economics adviser), Alfred O’Rahilly (Constitutional adviser), Intelligence advisers - Tom Cullen, Emmet Dalton, Liam Tobin and Frank Thornton, Gordon MacGowan, L.S. Gordon, John Smith Chartres, Second Secretary, George McGrath, Accountant General, Patrick Hogan, photographer, Sir John Lavery, artist who painted portraits of Arthur Griffith and Michael Collins; later signatures include W.T. Cosgrave, Joe O’Reilly, London based republican, and David O’Donoghue. A unique and desirable collection. Condition: Very fine. Alice and Ellie Lyons were among the four women chosen as secretaries to accompany the Irish plenipotentiaries during the Treaty negotiations. They had previously worked for Sinn Féin, and for Michael Collins in the Department of Finance of Dáil Éireann.
