Awarded to Thomas Maxwell, who served initially under Commandant Wafer and later under Commandant Thomas Ashe in 5th Battalion, Dublin Brigade Irish Volunteers, at The Battle of Ashbourne, was deported to Knutsford Jail in Cheshire after the Rising. Accompanied by 79 pages of copied documents relating to Volunteer Maxwell. Condition: Medal extremely fine.
