(63.5 by 88.9cm) Provenance: Whyte’s, 28 September 2009, lot 48; Private collection An equestrian and portrait painter in oil born Cheshire, Pearson studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, in 1920, then at the Royal Academy Schools, from 1921-1926. She exhibited at the Royal Academy, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Royal Scottish Academy and the Society of Women Artists among others and her work can be found in the collection of the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum, Bournemouth and Sunderland Museum and Art Gallery. €1,500-€2,000 (£1,280-£1,710 approx.)
