Knight Commander of The Order of The Bath (Civil Division) to the Chief Crown Solicitor for Ireland. The Most Honourable Order of the Bath, K.C.B. (Civil) Knight Grand Cross set of insignia, comprising 18 carat gold sash badge, hallmarked London, 72mm x 43mm including integral ring for suspension; and breast star in silver, gold and enamel, fitted with gold pin for wearing, together with silk sash. Condition: Extremely fine is box of issue by R & S Gerrard & Co. with Instructions card and a note from Major General Rice of The Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood. Patrick Coll, Chief Crown Solicitor for Ireland, was appointed a Companion of The Civil Division of The Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 21 May 1890. He was promoted to be Knight Commander of the Civil Division of the Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 10th July 1903.
