This is to certify that Dermot O’Dwyer served in the War of Independence against the British Forces’. Signed by Company Officer Michael Cremen, Battalion Officers Liam O’Doherty and another illegible, and Oscar Traynor, Brigadier O.C. Dublin Brigade. Designed by C. McCarthy No. 2 Engineers. Colour lithograph, signed in ink. Of a type not seen by us before, very rare. 14.50 by 19.50in. (36.8 by 49.5cm) Condition: Sightly faded, very good, in an attractive antique gilt frame.
