A scratch-built tin-plate model of an open touring car, with green bodywork and Irish tricolours on the doors. Condition: Fine Originally owned by General Sir Neville Macready, commander-in- chief of British forces in Ireland between 1918 and 1920, the Leyland Eight as given to the Irish Free State by Winston Churchill on MacReady’s recommendation, knowing that Collins admired it. This was the car in which Michael Collins was killed in 1922. A rare model, handbuilt by a model railway maker in Dublin, since deceased.
