The poster protests over a trial by ‘Mulcahy’s murder officers’ of Martin Calligan, Co. Clare, who was sentenced to 5 years in prison for possession of arms. A very rare anti Fianna Fáil poster, 3 years into the party’s first government. Sinn Féin became more critical as de Valera’s government started to prosecute IRA members. 20 by 15in.
