Two pieces of open ended smokey quartz known as ‘Carlow Bramnle’. Accompanying label reads:” given by my nephew Robert Lecky and found by himself E. Pike, 19 (month) 28th 1818, Robert Lecky “. Each piece: 2 by 1.50 by 0.75in. (5.1 by 3.8 by 1.9cm) Condition: Fine. Smoky Quartz offers a rare and beautiful transparency that draws light into shades of black and brown.
