46 43 Norman Teeling (b.1944) WOMAN IN INTERIOR oil on canvas signed lower left 20 by 24in. (50.8 by 61cm) Frame Size: 26.75 by 31in. (67.9 by 78.7cm) Norman Teeling was born in Dublin in 1944. He studied at the National College of Art and Design and graduated with a degree in fine art in 1975. He built his career as an art teacher, giving classes in several colleges in Dublin while working as a background artist, stage designer and animator for several shows and movies in Ireland, Norway and the USA. Teeling’s work has been widely exhibited in both solo and group shows throughout Ireland, with one held at Gorry Gallery in 2007. In 1998, the GPO commissioned the artist to create ten paintings in commemoration of the 1916 Easter Rising. €600-€800 (£530-£700 approx.) Click here for more images and to bid on this lot43
