Among the statements are several detailed accounts of rape and one attempted rape recording names and addresses of victims and perpetrators. Among other statements are details of the shooting of Pat Murphy of Milltown on the orders of Capt. Thomas Watson of Lumcloon 1822,- “a private attempt with firearm on the life of Paul Troy of Fenagh” 1818. Land disputes, vicious assaults, rescue of animals distrained for rent, wage disputes, the stealing of trees, potatoes, sheep, cattle, pigs, geese, blacksmiths tools and several other sworn allegations.
