Each etched with Dublin Fusiliers crest and ‘Noel 27.4.’16’ for Second Lieutenant Noel John Davies. Condition: Some wear, one with very faint traces of crest. Second Lieutenant Noel John Davies, serving with the 8th Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, was killed in action on 27 April 1916 during operations on the Western Front. His death is recorded by both the Imperial War Museum (Lives of the First WorldWar) and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, and he is buried at Noeux-les-Mines Communal Cemetery, Pas-de-Calais, France.
