162 155 Banksy (British, b.1974) PECKHAM ROCK, 2018 wooden postcard; (unframed) 4.75 by 7in. (12.1 by 17.8cm) Provenance: British Museum, 2018; Private collection The original Peckham Rock, made out of concrete and showing a ‘prehistoric figure’ pushing a shopping trolley, was placed by Banksy without permission in the British Museum in 2005. It stayed on display for three days before it was spotted and removed. This wooden replica, made with the approval of Banksy, was sold in the British Museum gift shop as part of the 2018 exhibition ‘I Object: Ian Hislop’s search for dissent’ which included the original Peckham Rock. €250-€350 (£220-£300 approx.)
