20th Century: Great Southern and Great Northern Railway collection
A large collection of documents and ephemera relating to Great
Southern Railway and Great Northern Railway. Including GNR Dundalk
Works repairs notebooks, scarce GSR wagon labels, caution ticket,
Directors reports, financial accounts and statistical returns, original
engine diagrams, ‘bound GNR diagrams, seat reserved’ labels,
headed notepaper and receipts, cycle labels, an excellent selection of
luggage labels dating from 1880s onwards and for various locations.

A collection of monochrome photographs of various sizes mostly relating
to the Batak Tribe of Indonesia and with titles. Including ‘Group of
Bataks’, ‘Bataks weaving’, ‘Batak Huts, Sumatra’, ‘Battak Chiefs’. Also a
number of British Army related photographs including medical staff at
Cabul and Singapore from Fort Canning. All appear to have been pasted
to an album at some point and remain on paper with some photographs
