Rory Gallagher Fender Stratocaster replica guitar
with his original ‘warm-up’ amplifier
An exact replica of the first Stratocaster imported to Ireland
in 1962 and purchased by Rory from Crowley's Music Store in
Cork in 1963.  Also an Oberhiemer backstage, 'warm-up' or
'studio' amplifier which Rory acquired in Los Angeles, in the
mid 1970s with the custom made, stencilled (Rory Gallagher)
road-box.  Donated by Rory's bother Donal and The Estate of
Rory Gallagher to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution,
Ballycotton, County Cork, on whose behalf it is offered here;
the entire hammer price will go to the RNLI (illustrated on
inside front cover). (2)

A photo booth “selfie” photograph taken of Art Garfunkel
and his long time girlfiend by themselves at Dublin Airport
shortly before their departure on 31 October 1978. A
poignant picture as, sadly, Laurie Bird committed suicide at
the couple’s New York apartment on June 15 1979. Unique
and unpublished. 2 x 1½in. (5 x 3cm)
