Atlas Assurance tin fire mark and two others

An early 19th century tin rectangular fire mark relief stamped with an

image of Atlas, c.1808; together with two early 20th century painted

aluminium fire plates, Guardian, 1932 and Reliance, 1921. (3)

Two lead fire marks and an aluminium fire mark

Two early 19th century moulded lead fire marks for Royal Exchange

Assurance, of baluster shape, surmounted by a George III crown with a

low relief representation of a classical temple, together with a late 19th

century aluminium Royal Exchange Assurance fire mark. (3) 9 x 4in. (23 x

10cm)

Convex type with screw post and fitting and marked ‘800’. All the original

black paint finish intact. Very good used condition.

Convex type with vertical pin and catch. Paint loss to the right arm of the

cross and minor point damage. Used condition.

Convex type, the original vertical pin and catch are no longer present.

Two crude pins have been soldered on and there is the remains of a third.

The majority of the original black paint finish remains. Used condition.

Vertical pin and catch with a makers mark for ‘H B G’ on the pin. Retains

most of the original black paint finish. Used condition.

1914 Iron Cross 2nd class and 1914-18 Honour Crosses.

Maker marked ‘K O’ on the suspension ring, all of the original black paint

finish is intact and on the original ribbon. Good used condition. Also

three Honour Crosses bronze with Crossed Swords for combatants ,

makers marks “HM” and “O&B” , and no mark, the latter with part

original ribbon, the first good, the others used, also Honour Cross without

Swords in black for next of kin, marked “G&S” in very good condition. (5)

combatants), Silesian Eagle 2nd Class, Eighteen years Service Cross 2nd

Class with an Army Eagle on the Ribbon (Nazi period) and a Four Year

Service Medal 4th class with an Army Eagle on the ribbon (Nazi period).

Some loss of finish to the 2 long service medals otherwise good

condition.

A Court Mounted Group of Four

Comprising of a Bavarian Military Merit Cross 4th Class with Crossed

Swords, a 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, a Bavarian Jubilee Medal for the

Army and a Bavarian Long Service Cross. Enamel damage to the first on

the lower arm, otherwise all are in good condition.

A Group of three contemporary miniatures.

1914-1918 Honour Cross, Ernst August medal 2nd class and a 1914Iron

Cross 2nd class. These are suspended from a gold coloured chain with a

stick-pin at each end. Very good condition.
