A WWII German S.A. Dagger

German Nazi SA Dagger with brown scabbard, blade maker marked

`Solingen`, cross guard stamped `Wf`. 15in. (38cm)

Overall excellent condition. Two nicks from wooden grip. The scabbard

missing suspension rings.

1933-38 Hitler Youth Dagger.

An early example, the reverse of the blade is maker marked “E.P & S

Solingen GES. GESCH” (Ernst Pack & Sohne) and “RZM 1936”. To the

obverse is the motto “BLUT UND EHRE”. Nickle plated pommel and

turned up quillion with black chequered grips and inlaid Hitler Youth

Badge. Housed in a black painted scabbard complete with the leather

belt loop and retaining strap with press stud. Some loss of the nickel

plating and rust on the scabbard, otherwise in good used condition.

Early examples such as this are now quite hard to find.
