Gabriel Murray was born in Kilkenny. He studied Fine Art at The National College of Art and Design. He went on to
study film at Dun Laoghire College of Art. Murray founded the Visual Arts Centre and was awarded the Young Ireland
Initiative. He was also a founding member of the Young Irish Film Makers Workshop (Dublin).
