An autograph album signed by pupils of Mount

Temple Comprehensive School, Dublin, including

a page signed by the four members of U2, Adam

Clayton; Paul Hewson (later Bono); Larry Mullen

and Dave Evans (later The Edge). Inscribed, Love

to you from” and a U2 logo drawn in the top right

corner by Larry Mullen in blue and black ball-

point. Inscribed to the bottom of the page in blue

ballpoint, “We will remember you when were [sic]

famous”.”

band-members to the title page in silver felt-tip

pen with a doodle of a fish drawn beneath Bono’s

signature. Accompanied by a ticket to the sign-

ing; mounted with a photograph of Bono, at the

signing, doodling on a poster of James Joyce and a

second, spare dust jacket.

A quartz alarm clock, mounted on a black box

frame, the ‘clockface’ a photograph of Bono with

vampire fangs inscribed Vampire Clock” and

signed “Bono”. The clock allegedly screams at

midnight! Created by Steve Averill, designer for

U2’s early albums, specifically for donation to an

auction, in support of AIDS research held in the

Mansion House, Dublin. Unique.”
