1956 (December 8) Letter from Sean O’Casey to
The Irish Press.
A one-page typewritten letter from O’Casey’s
home in Torquay. The letter opens, Dear Sir, Some
time ago I sent a very short letter that passed a
few remarks about the fear of anyone in Ireland
venturing to call himself a Communist. “, signed in
black ink.”
