A model 38 dagger for a leader in the railway protection service, aluminium crossguard and pommel, and a black
bakelite grip, in metal scabbard. Non maker marked. A good used example of a very rare dagger. Dagger length

Reputedly made from metal recovered from crashed Luftwaffe aircraft and then used to make a collection box for
British war efforts or armed services benevolent funds. Unusual and possibly unique if rather grotesque.
