George V, 1897 pattern British infantry officer’s sword

The straight, 32½ inch, single-fullered blade etched with a Royal cypher and the Arms of the United

Kingdom, on pierced steel, three-quarter basket hilt, with wire bound fishskin grip. The back of the

blade numbered ‘4885’.. In brown leather service scabbard mounted on a Sam Browne belt. Sword

1914-1918 British cavalry trooper’s sword.

A British 1908 Pattern Cavalry Sword, plain straight blade with central fuller, large dish guard,

chequered grip. Blade stamped with a crown above ‘8’, above ‘E’, in steel scabbard. Sword length
