This tapestry was produced in France in 1973
under Dalí’s direction in a limited edition of
500 of which the present work is an artist’s
proof (épreuve d’artiste). An example from this
edition can be seen hanging above the artist’s
bed at the Dalí Museum, Figueres, Spain.
Another can be found in the collection of the
Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.
