Tony O’Malley arrived in St. Ives in 1955 for a painting
holiday returning in 1957. In 1960 he lodged at the
home of Mary ‘Boots’ Redgrave, a partner in the
longest running gallery in St. Ives,The Craftsman.
O’Malley stayed with the Redgrave family until 1962
when he moved to Trevaylor, Gulval, Cornwall.
