1916 Rising Medal, 1917-21 Service Medal with Comhrac bar and 1966
Survivors Medal, to Quartermaster Sergeant Bernard McCarthy, together
with a silver gilt Sword of Light (Claoimh Solais) badge, presented
to Sergeant McCarthy by Bolands Limited on 15 April 1966. Also a
folder of documents including McCarthy’s 1916 Frongoch internment
order and correspondence relating to his pension application and 1966
anniversary events; his rosary beads and two bullets.
