First issue after the Rising. Printed date of Meitheamh 3 1916
overstamped 5 JUN 1916 by rubber stamp in violet. Photograph of a
train derailed on the first night of the Rising to prevent the arrival of
two trainloads of soldiers from Athlone. Interesting content, not entirely
supportive of the Rising, but later issues of 1917 are more sympathetic to
armed insurrection. (9).
