Pp89 manuscript, closely written, red leather bound notebook.

Augustus-Abraham went as a volunteer with a regiment of Dragoons

sailing from Cove [Cobh] and arriving in Aboukir Bay off Egypt. The

campaign was to drive the French forces out of Egypt which had been

left there by Napoleon after the defeat/destruction of the French fleet

under Admiral Nelson in Aboukir Bay.
