Persian Style illustrated manuscripts.
Three decorated folios (framed). The first depicting figures wrestling
dates to the early 20th century, but is based on 16th century Mogul
/ Iranian art and includes additions of an earlier manuscript in the
margins. The second example, showing figures and horses, probably
dates to the 17th century with later 19th century additions. The third
example, with its columns and text, suggest a Persian poetry text,
possibly dating to the 17th century with later additions. An exotic and
decorative set. (Average size given)
