Camargue is located south of Arles, France. The Parc Naturel Régional de Camargue covers over 800km_ and was
officially established as a regional park and nature reserve in 1970. Its marshes are a prime habitat for birds and insects.
Camargue horses (Camarguais) and cattle roam the extensive marshlands as do the greater flamingo.
