Dimensions of limestone plinth 36 by 14 by 13.75in.Michael Duhan was born in Limerick and attended the school of art
there from 1972-74. He has been employed by the National College of Art & Design, Dublin since 1982 and has a studio
in Temple Bar Gallery & Studios. He first sculpted in 1984, exhibiting in Temple Bar Gallery two years later. Lover of Lovers
falls into the artist’s early body of work when he began experimenting in the medium. Works from these early years were
either unique or low limited editions. All moulds of these have since been destroyed by the artist and this represents a
unique record of the artist’s early exploration in the medium.
