A parcel gilt silver medal engraved with a Boeing
707 with shamrock badge on the tailplane. The
second leg of the teams’ two meetings that season
was played in Chicago on 4th October, 1965. The
score was New York (3-09) - Tipperary (2-09), but
Tipp’s aggregate score over the two legs made them
winners by 4 points.
