A 19-inch long model of the Irish Shipping vessel. The Irish Elm was built for Irish Shipping at Verolme Cork
Dockyard, was launched by Maureen Lynch in 1967 and made her maiden voyage in 1969. At 192m (632ft)
and 38,333 tons, she remains the largest ship ever constructed in the Republic of Ireland. The model by Gerard
