An 1878 pattern officer’s home service Army Veterinary Corps helmet with fitted case made by Holt and Son,
20 Sackville Street, London. Mounted with a crowned star pattern helmet plate, the centre with silver “AVC”
monogram on a green enamel background. From the uniform of Captain Frederick J. Sheedy MBE HM, Fair Hill,
Cork.

Sheridan, Royal Navy; together with a silver napkin ring
engraved with the names and dates of Sheridan’s ships;
a portrait photograph, framed of rear Admiral Sheridan
in uniform; a Royal Navy commission signed by George
VI; a pair of ceremonial scissors and three photographs of
the launch, at Canadian Vickers Ltd. of patrol vessels. The
