18th and 19th century silver sauce boats.

A George III silver, helmet-shaped sauce boat, the wavy

rim and s-scroll handle on later decorated body, raised

on three shell-capped hoof feet, hallmarked for London,

1761, maker’s mark for James Morrison. 9¼oz troy (288g);

together with a Victorian silver sauce-boat, the plain body

with wavy rim, marks rubbed, 4½oz troy (143g). (2)

A William IV Irish silver three-piece melon shaped tea

service, the lobed body mounted with c-scroll handle on

moulded foot, halmarked for Dublin, 1833-1835, maker’s

mark for Richard Sawyer Jnr., 50½oz troy (1,571g).

A three-piece Victorian silver baluster-shaped tea service

the wavy rim with anthemion motif, the body with incised

chinoiserie scenes, the teapot lid with Chinese figural

finial, hallmarked for London, 1839, maker’s mark for

Joseph Angell snr. and Joseph Angell jnr.
